The entrance test will comprise of a written test followed by group discussions and personal interviews. The written test, GD and interviews is held on 27th May, 2012 at various locations like New Delhi, Patna, Lucknow, Kolkata, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Pune, Baroda, Bhopal, Jaipur and Chandigarh. The exact date and venue shall be communicated separately and can also be seen on IABM website. The management reserves the right to cancel or add any centre at its sole discretion. The written test shall comprise of multiple answer type questions related to General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Reasoning of 100 marks each, making a total of 400 marks. The GD and interview will carry 200 marks each with a total of 400 marks. The students are advised to carry attested copies of their academic degree and testimonials at the time of GD and interview.
Eligibility: 75% of the seats are reserved for students with Bachelors degree in agriculture and allied subjects, including life sciences; such as agriculture, veterinary, agricultural engineering, food technology / science, animal husbandry, diary technology / science, horticulture, fisheries, forestry, botany, biology, environmental and related sciences, having minimum 55% marks. Final year graduating students, who expect to get results before July 2012 can also apply.
Remaining 25% of the seats will be filed up by graduates of general disciplines like commerce, science and engineering from any recognized university with minimum 55% marks. But, such students, including pure sciences graduates will have to study one foundation course on agriculture and rural economy in the first semester.
